The first hour will be ran as a training class led by Sonny Mannon. The second hour will focus on more advanced techniques and variations.

Introduction to Shuai Jiao

We will go over many different aspects of shuai jiao training including our functional warm-ups, solo drills, partner drills, technique practice and equipment training. You will gain abetter understanding of the art of Shuai Jiao as well as learn practical methods for continued training.

Great for beginners and advanced students alike. We will practice our Guang Wu Shuai Jiao Basics material including solo practice, variations and application. This is a fundamental part of our Guang Wu Shuai Jiao Level 1 curriculum.

Shuai Jiao Takedowns Level 1

This session will cover the takedowns found in the Guang Wu Shuai Jiao Level 1 curriculum. The techniques build a solid foundation for further practice and teach very useful takedowns. We will go over solo technique practice, partner application, and common variations. Shuai Jiao has a history dating back thousands of years and has influenced the throwing techniques of many styles of Chinese Kung Fu.
